This will focus on developing a research proposal and submit to the Ethics Review Committee(ERC).

The student will  develop desirable attitudes and skill in giving care to children using the nursing process, attend to the physical, psychological, and emotional and play needs of the child according the respective developmental stage and explain the etiology, signs and symptoms, pathophysiology, preventive and current diagnostic measures and curative treatments for the minor and major childhood diseases and disorders. This module enables the student to take care of children undergoing surgeries, and those who require special care and critical care nursing. 


This module helps students to achieve core understanding and skills in nurses’ role in preventive and curative aspects of maternity care in both community and hospital settings. This emphases students to function as an effective team member, develop efficient communication skills and understand the ethical background and contribute to achieving safe motherhood in the country. Overall, this course will help students to achieve the ability to plan, implementation and evaluation of total nursing care for maternity.


This module focuses on planning meals containing adequate amounts of all nutrients for all age groups and plan therapeutic diets for different disease conditions according to the, socio-economic and cultural patterns and the activity level of the individual, family and community, practices of suitable cookery methods necessarily in the preparation of the healthy diet.
